MINISTRIES AT WORD OF RESTORATION
The 400 MEN’S FELLA-SHIP is a strong and vital ministry for young men and adults aged 13 and up. “The 400” addresses and combats the real-life issues that men face. Men of God gather in regular meetings to encourage and exhort one another in faith through the development of honor, integrity, and character.
The Triumphant Women of God (TWOG) fellowship is designed for women and young women aged 13 and up. TWOG provides ministry to the entire woman [mind, body, and spirit] through practical and encouraging teaching moments, conferences, social gatherings, trips, special events, and more.
The Chosen Generation Nursery Ministry ministers to infants and toddlers ages 2 months through Pre-school. The ministry is located in the main building, inside the Kidz Kingdom Nursery. Our environment is safe, loving, and fun for your child to grow in the knowledge of God. The ministry is designed to spiritually cultivate each child into becoming a truth-seeking follower of Jesus Christ. As we are teaching of God’s love, each caring Partner is modeling that same love to your children. Our Christ-centered curriculum is supported with Bible activities, crafts, exciting games, and fun movements. Your child will also enjoy our colorful, indoor playground with soft floors to ensure a safe environment. The nursery is open during Sunday and Wednesday services.
The Royal Priesthood (RPH) Children’s Ministry ministers to students in Kindergarten through 5th grades. RPH is an exciting and loving environment where students can learn the Word of God on their level. Students learn by storytelling, memory verses, interactive games and more. Parents are encouraged to partner with Royal Priesthood as we plant seeds of faith and hope into the lives of our Word of Restoration children.
The Peculiar Middle School Ministry ministers to youth in 6th through 8th grades. It is an exciting and dynamic ministry designed to teach the Word of God to middle school and Junior High students at their age-appropriate levels. They learn how to make Godly choices and commit to living by God’s Word. The students are given opportunities to develop in areas of spirituality as well as leadership in their schools and communities.
The Youth Ministry of WORIC is committed to ministering to and meeting the spiritual needs of youth 6th grade to 19yrs. The Youth Ministry is built on the FIVE pillars of Faith, Integrity, Vision, Excellence along with Leadership. The ministry prepares our youth to transition to the next phase in life as young adults. The Youth ministry meets via zoom every other Wednesday at 7:00 pm and 2nd Sunday at 10:00am. The Youth Ministry also meets 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month for our Sunday Morning Worship experience, and serve on 4th Sunday for Youth Serving Sundays.
Marriage Made Alive (MMA) is designed to equip married and engaged couples with tools to assist in building a strong and satisfying marital relationship. The ministry provides practical teaching and principles to keep your marriage fulfilled and Christ-centered.
The Bridge is a unique ministry developed for individuals aged 20-42. Through the relevant and relatable teaching of the Word, social interaction, and fun outings and activities. The Bridge is designed as a pathway from young adulthood to mature adulthood.
Designed to provide fellowship to those members of WORIC who are 55 and older. This ministry provides intimate fellowship, good food and wholesome fun throughout the year to our seasoned saints.
The Tribe of Judah praise team and choir set the atmosphere for our worship experiences and usher in the anointing of God through Praise and Worship.
The mandate of God for Word of Restoration International Church is to “Restore lives with the Word of God.” The Restoration Prison Ministry takes this mandate beyond the church campus and behind the prison walls to minister to men and women who have been incarcerated. The ministry also provides a caring message through letters and encouraging correspondence.
The Word of Restoration Anointed Characters Touching Souls (A.C.T.S.) theatre arts ministry is a dynamic and talented performance ministry team that utilizes dramatic interpretation to bring the Word of God to life through plays, skits, poetry and other creative expressions.
The Word of Restoration Altar Ministry workers are a compassionate presence with a heart to assist and comfort individuals during our worship experiences.
This ministry meets the needs of the community through outreach and fellowship opportunities with senior adults in the surrounding areas as well as through spreading the Word of God throughout the local community. This ministry also provides assistance to the area homeless shelters, pregnancy centers, and abused women.
The first friendly faces that are seen upon entrance into the main sanctuary lobby are the ladies of the Greeter’s Ministry. They are there to welcome and greet those entering the main sanctuary lobby and first-time visitors who stop by the Welcome Center.
Hands of Restoration was formed for the express purpose of sharing the Word of God with the hearing impaired. This ministry of skilled individuals is committed to translating the worship experience using American Sign Language.
During every worship experience, there are appeals made for 1) Salvation, 2) Rededication, 3) Receiving Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and 4) Church Membership. The Harvest Ministry receives and ministers to individuals who respond to the Gospel Message and answer to one or more of the appeals.
The Heart of Compassion Ministry team is committed to visiting with and ministering to those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
With a spirit of joy and hospitality, this ministry team prepares meals and refreshments for Word of Restoration events and guests as requested.
According to the Word of God, we should always pray. The Intercessory Prayer Ministry serves as watchmen on the wall to fervently and faithfully serve our leadership and the ministry through prayer and fasting.
The Word of Restoration Media Team is responsible for all audio and visual aspects of the ministry as well as the “Restoring Lives” television broadcast.
The dance and mime ministries consist of the Restoration-N-Motion Adult & Youth dance teams, as well as Restoration Hip-Hop dance, and the Hophal Mime Ministry. These creative worship teams are a vital and exciting part of our Worship Experiences.
Our Parking Lot Ministry Attendants assist in creating a smooth flow of traffic before, between and after Sunday Worship Experiences. Their presence helps worshippers with parking and pedestrian access to the campus buildings.
The Usher Ministry serves as the doorkeepers of Word of Restoration. They assist worshippers in various areas during every worship experience.
